Adult Dogs-$75/Day

A day spent on the dock with my daycare service is one of relaxation, adventure, and personalized care. Your pup will be welcomed into a peaceful, intimate setting where the focus is on creating a calm yet stimulating environment. With only one or two other dogs joining them, there's plenty of space for each dog to feel at ease while receiving ultra focused attention. The day often begins with a trip to the beach, where the dogs get to run, explore, and socialize. Spontaneous training is incorporated as needed, ensuring the dogs stay mentally engaged. Whether it's reinforcing good behavior or learning a new skill, every moment is an opportunity for growth. After a fun filled morning at the beach, the dogs return to the houseboat for some much-needed rest. Next up…an afternoon social with their dock-mates. Then finally they’re ready to go home tired, satisfied and ready to cuddle!

I offer customized, in-home care where your dog becomes part of the family. Unlike typical kennels or large-scale boarding facilities, your pup will enjoy a calm, peaceful environment with one-on-one attention and plenty of love.

At Dog Boarding Sausalito, I specialize in caring for small (under 35 lbs), social, and easygoing dogs who feel right at home in a relaxed setting. Because I keep my guest list tiny—just a couple of pups at a time—each dog receives truly individualized care.

My approach combines decades of experience, positive-reinforcement micro-training, and an intuitive understanding of what helps dogs feel safe and content. Whether that means a slow dockside stroll, cozy nap in the sun, or gentle playtime, I tailor each stay to your dog’s unique rhythm.

🚙 Pick-Up & Grace Period

I know travel plans don’t always run on schedule, so here’s how pick-up works:

  • Every stay includes a 2-hour grace period after your booked time, free of charge.

  • If pick-up happens after the grace window, the stay rolls into the next time block:

    • Up to 6 hours: $60 adults | $125 puppies/high energy

    • Up to 8 hours: $75 adults | $135 puppies/high energy

    • Over 8 hours (up to 24h): $110 adults | $135 puppies/high energy

  • This way you don’t have to stress if you’re running late, and I can keep things balanced and fair for every pup family.

🐶 Cancellations & Holidays Bookings ✨

Because space here is so limited (just a few pups at a time), I keep things simple and transparent so everyone knows what to expect:

  • Cancellations:
    If your plans change, please let me know at least 1 week in advance so I can offer the spot to another family. Cancellations made with less notice will be charged half of the stay cost.

  • Holidays:
    Holiday stays book up quickly, so a non-refundable deposit is required to hold your pup’s spot. During these peak times, there’s an additional $25/dog per 24-hour stay.

  • Deposits:
    To confirm any booking, a deposit of half the total stay is due at the time of reservation.

Requirements

All pups must be:

  • 35 lbs or under

  • House trained (no pee pads)

  • Spayed or neutered

  • On flea & tick medication

  • Socialized (Your pup is comfortable with a wide variety of dogs, cats (indoor), situations and types of people.)

  • Up to date on vaccinations

  • Available to attend and complete a trial period before initial boarding: The trial period is one 24 hour stay (to ensure your pup will be happy with his/her new home away from home) -New clients only-
