I offer customized, in-home care where your dog becomes part of the family. Unlike typical kennels or large-scale boarding facilities, your pup will enjoy a calm, peaceful environment with one-on-one attention and plenty of love.

At Dog Boarding Sausalito, I specialize in caring for small (under 35 lbs), adult, social, and easygoing dogs who feel right at home in a relaxed setting. Because I keep my guest list tiny—just a couple of pups at a time—each dog receives truly individualized care.

My approach combines decades of experience, positive-reinforcement micro-training, and an intuitive understanding of what helps dogs feel safe and content. Whether that means a slow dockside stroll, cozy nap in the sun, or gentle playtime, I tailor each stay to your dog’s unique rhythm.

🚙 Pick-Up & Grace Period

I know travel plans don’t always run on schedule, so here’s how pick-up works:

• Every stay includes a 2-hour grace period after your booked time, free of charge (with a courtesy text of course ;).

• If pick-up happens after the grace window, the stay rolls into the next time block:

  • Up to 6 hours: $60 adults

  • Up to 8 hours: $75 adults

  • Over 8 hours (up to 24h): $110 adults

This way you don’t have to stress if you’re running late, and I can keep things balanced and fair for every pup family.

🐶 Bookings & Payments✨

Because space here is so limited (just a few pups at a time), I keep things simple and transparent so everyone knows what to expect. Each stay is reserved and paid for in advance.

• When we confirm your dates, I’ll send the total for your pup’s stay.

• Payment in full secures your pup’s spot and allows me to turn away other bookings for those dates.

• Holiday periods include a $25 per dog, per 24-hour holiday surcharge in addition to the standard rate.

• Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance are eligible for a full refund or a credit toward a future stay within 6 months.

• Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date are nonrefundable and charged as booked, since that space has been held exclusively for your pup.

  Daycare – monthly prepayment

  Daycare runs on a reserved-spot model. Your pup’s daycare days for the month are chosen in advance and billed as a single prepaid amount. That prepayment holds your pup’s recurring daycare spot, so individual days within that month are still charged, even if your pup misses a day or you need to cancel a reserved date.

  Daycare packages have no carry-over, make-up days, or credits into future months. You are paying for your pup’s place in a very small group, rather than drop-in visits.

  Pup Club – monthly prepayment with membership terms

  Pup Club memberships are prepaid monthly and reserve a specific number of spots for your pup each month.

  Reserved Pup Club days are treated as used once the monthly schedule is set, even if your pup skips or cancels a day. Any rollover, make-up options, or flexible date policies follow the Pup Club membership terms provided to you in writing for your specific tier.

• Once payment is set, you’re fully booked and I can focus on what I do best: giving your pup a calm, cozy dockside stay.
